Bio
Wooster is a California indie rock 'n' soul band breed from the Pacific Ocean and redwood forests of Santa Cruz. With a mash-up of blues, rock, funk and reggae, Wooster's sound is, above all else, a passionate display of love for the groove. Lead by male/female vocalists Brian Gallagher and Caroline Kuspa, the band's sound fuses Gallagher's impassioned and raw vocal delivery with Caroline's remarkable gift for melody that, when combined with the richness of her tone, creates only the most eloquent of harmonies. The band released their debut full-length album "The Heights of Things" in 2009. Currently in the studio recording their second full-length album, Wooster continues to tour up and down the west coast and will make their first trip to Austin, TX for SXSW this March. Recent tour highlights include being selected as finalists for Ford Motor Company's 'Gimmie The Gig', Wooster performed to a sold out crowd at the Whiskey A Go Go on the Sunset Strip and was introduced by the legendary Don Was. The band also had the pleasure of opening up for the English Beat, as well as performing with some of their favorite contemporaries including Rubblebucket, The Bright Light Social Hour and Ease Up. This January, one of Wooster's new yet to be released tracks was featured in a Universal Audio international promotional video for their new Apollo system which debuted at NAMM 2012. Wooster will be touring nationwide in support of their sophomore album throughout 2012. -

You put some soul, hip hop, reggae, rock, and blues into a pot and stirred it with your bare hands.
