  • Aghora 3 Update

AGHORA 3 is still boiling at night and refining!  I am currently finishing the Heavy Guitar tracks. I had to take a few days off cause I blew some tubes in my new Madison Head and now awaiting for 4 el 34 JJ tubes to arrive!  I can't wait.  The new head sounds very BALLSY as do the new tracks.

I am using both my old Divinity II head & The New Divinity II head together per side. for this album.   Most of the guitars are the Carvin 727 and a bit of the Agile 7.

There are about 5 more tunes left to finish up Guitar Solos & Heavy Guitars.  Then I have to do the Clean tracks for some songs. Its coming together nicely.  There is a lot of natural Tones on the album (Acoustic guitars, Banjo, Electric guitars through Tube amp).  This album is closer the the 1st Debut BUT with more power than Fornless.  So it will be a solid album on standing on its own.

Diana is working on Vocals soon.  She will most likely be recording with in the next 20 days.

Alan is currently helping his mother retire and move to South Carolina.  He will be back in MIAMI in June to finish his Fretless bass tracks.

Matt is working on his percussion tracks now for A3.

    Peace

  • Formless available for purchase through Myspace

It seems the digital version of Formless can now be purchased through our very own music player. Definitely a cool new feature, so just click on the Albums tab on the bottom left of the music player and you'll be able to hear the entire album.

From there, you can purchase it as a whole or individual songs from Amazon. So check it out, and thanks again for the continued support from those of you who actually pay for the music we work so hard to create...as opposed to just geting it for free and spitting in our faces. If you like it, then truly support it.

  • AGHORA 3 Drums & Other Info

All Drum tracks with Matt Thompson (King Diamond, Shaolin Death Squad) for  Aghora 3 drum are complete!

Sessions where held in Texas Indian Trails Studio with Engineer & Co-owner Alex Gerst. The studio was recommended to us by friend and mentor Shrapnel shred legend Derek Taylor http://www.milostudio.com.  It was a great experience with zero obstacles. Studio facility is great and Alex is a drummer himself so he really understands the approach that is involved in the Aghora stuff.  Matt is amazing! He is very smooth, yet razor accurate with a lot of balls!  It's good to have the metal muscle power, yet the fusion open air and breath of a Vinnie Colaiuta, Jack DeJohnette & Billy Cobham.   Matt has 100% free control and is laying it down solid!  He flows very smoothly with a lot of power and balls.  The album has 10 songs total of full on serious intensity. Metal and prog fans will be delighted.  The line up is Alan Goldstein, Diana Serra, Matt Thompson & Santiago Dobles.  We will most likely be mixing in August.

Currently Santiago is tracking all Guitars in his home studio.  Diana will be tracking soon as well.  Alan is half way done.

"After having had the good fortune to be present during some of the Aghora 3 sessions, i felt as if a star destroyer had warped out of hyperspace about 4 centimeters into my left eye socket. this stuff will blow your mind... this record may require direct transmission from the master, as damage suffered by the uninitiated may be permanent."
