BANISHER

The beginning

Banisher was created in July 2005r. in Rzeszow by Hubert Więcek & Michał Such.
The same year in December Banisher recorded first demo "Sorrow of Death" in studio Chinook in Dębica. Demo had several great opinions in media due to the fact of a young age of musicians and the technical level of songs.
In July 2006 Banisher acted on one of the biggest metal festivals in Poland – Malbork Metal Days. At the end of September band started recording EP “Human Sacrifice” in Studio Spaart in Boguchwala. In the meantime Banisher played first gig abroad in Prague (CZ)

At the end of 2006 band recorded EP "Human Sacrifice".In 2007 Banisher played few gigs in Poland and Slovakia. At the end of 2007 band played with such bands as Sceptic, Thy Disease, Virgin Snatch, Moonfog(SK), Killchain(SK), Stillborn, Pandemonium, Vulvulator(UA), FOB(CZ), Apocryphal Death(CZ) and many other

Slaughterhouse

Summer 2008 turned out to be a very important time for the band - Banisher played a good gig on Metal Head's Mission on Crimea (UA) supporting such bands as Cynic, Moonspel or Gorgoroth. In November band played also a good gig on Death Metal Assault in Uzhgorod in Ukraine. In December Banisher started recording their debut album „Slaughterhouse”. In March 2009 Banisher again visited Czech Repulbic to play in Prague and Plzen.
At the end of June Banisher finished recording „Slaughterhouse” LP. Band started to promote the upcoming album and played on Headbangers Fest in Cracow. After that gig drummer Michał and bassist Marcin left the band. Xan oraz Schroder joined the band as session musicans. In July Banisher supported legendary Cynic in Kosice (SK). At the beginning of August Banisher again played on Metal Head's Mission in Crimea, this time supporting Cryptopsy, Grave and Sadist. For that gig the band joined a new giutarist – Mateusz Sieńko. At the end of August Banisher played on the Main Square in Rzeszow on RzeszOff Art Festival.
In September Banisher played mini tour in south Poland promoting the upcoming album.

2010 – the year of changes, hopes, disappointments and brutal truth

In February, after few months of searching for a label Banisher signs HeadXplode Records from Russia

New year was also the time for new line up changes - Michał Wyrwa re-joined the band as a bass player and Michał Stefański joined the band as a new permanent drummer. The band also found a second bass player - Daniel Wójtowicz. In March Banisher played first concert including new members with Trauma in Rzeszow.
In May Banisher went on their first big tour with Saratan, Newbreed and Mindwork(CZ). Unfortunately, the “Slaughterhouse Tour” got only into the 5 of 7 cities due the low attendance. At the same time the band was in awkward situation because their label was delaying the album release. New hope came in July – Banisher was booked on a gig with Behemoth, but due to the Behemoth's health problems the gig has been canceled.
During whole summer and autumn Banisher has been working on the new material and playing rehearsals.
In November Banisher has ended cooperation with its vocalist Kuba.
In December Banisher decided to end the contract with their label and take band's business into their own hands. First step was a decision to release their debut album “Slaughterhouse” to the Internet for free on Christmas Eve 2010.
Currently Banisher is working on their new material for the second CD and promoting its debut album.
