She has received nationwide recognition for her talent in publication of The Boston Herald. She is well known to the music and promotion scene throughout the city of Boston. Here is some information on her musically inclined background. BayHolla previously known as "Relly Rel" was brought up in the Roxbury part of Boston known then as Orchard Park Housing Project, renamed presently as Orchard Park Garden Estates. As a child growing up in the projects, as most project environments are was hard for Bay being surrounded by a lot of violence. This led her to grow up very quickly. At age nine Bayholla began writing and performing at local parties. This began her journey to become the hottest female artist. From the start, music became her passion. In 1997 Michael Bivens from BIV 10 Records brought her into the industry as the first female rapper which ranked Boston's top ten. She recently started her own movement under the "Bayholla Movement" and is currently working on her solo project under Frontline Entertainment in collaboration with Diamond Cut Sound Lab. Bayholla has made her stand to the city of Boston with help of Jamn 94.5's Dj On&On. He has put together the 1st Jamn 94.5 Launch Pad cd, which features all of the hottest rap artsit in Boston. Bayholla is also a current member of the new all female rap group Major Ladies of Boston (MLB); as well as collaborating with known celebrities such as Billy Danze from the rap group M.O.P, Shannyn Casino Big Shug, DJ Premiere and more. As her profession progresses her work continues with various local underground artists such as, J-Hunt, Mass Pike Miles, Frankie Wainwright and more. Bayholla has also recently starred in the new Rick Ross video featuring Mass Pike Miles. She also just starred in a new movie coming out called "Business is War". "Bayholla" has modeled for a variety of local clothing companies, such as: Antonia Ansaldi, Handsome Boy and DUR Photography clothing. Along with modeling, I have hosted several Boston music venues such as: The 978/617 Blowout at Sailsbury beach, Boston 1st Annual hiphop fest at Luriano's night club in New Hampsire and many many more. Bay has shown her ability to perform by performing at a variety of local venues such as: City Hall Plaza 2008 Annual Old School show, Castillo's Night Club, The Milky Way, Mc'Ganns's Pub, Paradise Lounge and more.
