Well thanks to everyone who came and supported us May 15th for the last show with Brad. The album-turned-to-E.P. "Art.Official.Ends" is currently posted, and will be for sale very soon via itunes, rhapsody, Amazon, etc. We hope you pick it up and enjoy it! This started as a 15 track album, and we have instrumentals and interludes for that many tracks, but it's been reduced to a 5-song EP. This leads to the next point:
This new stuff needs a new singer! We are going to be scouting for one during our current endeavors we've mentioned in the last blog, and if anyone knows someone who possesses what seems to be "it", let us know. Until then though, check out

We know Brad is not going to be easy to replace. He's been the only voice for BDD and a big part of our success, but we have something too important and kick-ass to let any one person destroy, and that's why we're going to be searching until we can find someone to fill the shoes and take Black Days Down further. We understand that we may loose some of the fans, and we get why completely, but we are always going to do our best to make great music together, and find a way to make something we love so much into a purpose-filled living. Our last remaining show will be held at the Rock on May 15th. Brad has chosen to leave and the rest of us are going to pursue other avenues in music. Andy will be releasing a solo record and maybe doing some gigging as well, while Kyle and possibly Matt will be touring with 3 Pill Morning for a while.
We will still be releasing whatever material we manage to finish for the new record though! We still believe that this next effort is worth getting to you, our fans, who have been patiently waiting for it, and it's definitely a step up in quality. The release date and the medium are still to be determined, but it will come.
Thank you soo much to those of you who pushed our music out there and made a dream very close to a reality. We gained so many friends, fans, knowledge, and memories that we'll never loose, and it's been an honor. We are sorry it had to end now. Until we know more though, we'll see you May 15th!
What's up everyone, we are posting this to see if anyone would like to be a BDD roadie/tech. Our stage plot has gotten too large for us to set up ourselves. We're talking for all shows. We could supply the food for the evening, and maybe more depending on the show, but this would pretty much be just hanging for the night, not going hungry, and having a good time with us. If you're interested message us on myspace and we'll let you know if we still need it.
That said, thanks again for all the support lately guys, and we've been stoked to meet so many new fans at shows lately. We love that shit.
