Candiria is NOT playing NJ tomorrow DEC 17th. its a lie.

Someone hacked one of our accounts I am trying to figure out who, why and when.. sorry bout this anyone who got psyched or made plans to come and see us. We do plan on doing some datesin 2012, we are trying to work out our scheduling conflicts.. Sit tight.

TOYING WITH THE INSANITIES III THIS SPRING

THE THIRD INSTALLMENT OF CANDIRIAS REMIX AND RARE TRACKS SERIES IS DUE OUT IN THE SPRING TIME,=. EITHER A LATE MARCH OR EARLY APRIL RELEASE. THERE ARE SOME REALLY INCREDIBLE REMIXES ON THIS ONE AND SOME REALLY SUPER DOPE ORIGINAL TRACKS AS WELL.
ARTWORK IS IN THE WORKS AND SO FAR SO GOOD. NOT QUITE SURE IF THIS WILL WIND UP ON VINYL OR CD.. I AM ROOTING FOR VINYL BUT ITS VERY EXPENSIVE.. GUESS WE'LL JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE. HERE IS THE ART SO FAR.

ORIGINAL MEMBER OF CANDIRIA PASSES AWAY
Band Issues Statement on Tragic Loss
BROOKYLN, NY – In the wake of their latest release, Toying With the Insanities, current members of Candiria have learned the sad news that original Candiria guitarist, Chris Puma, passed away last week, on September 20th.
The band has issued the following statement…
“Chris Puma died on September 20th 2009. The cause is not known to us, as his family did not speak of it. He leaves behind two children, 3 year old Aislinn A'marie and a 4 month old Aidan Todd. Chris was a great friend to the founding members of the band, and a respected musician among his friends and peers. He was a kind and gentle person and he will be missed.”
Puma was one of the founding members of the band, playing guitar in Candiria from 1992 to 1997, while helping to create the unique sound that Candiria is known for today. He can be heard on such Candiria records as Deep in the Mental (1995) and Surrealistic Madness (1995).

  Guys i'm sorry chris puma was an awsome guitarist and helped define what candiria is all about when i saw the post about his passing i gasped as if it was someone iv'e known personally for years but being that iv'e followed candiria since 1995 he was and is someone i've known for over ten years and even as i sit here writing this I can feel the lack of a great energy no longer with us my heart soul and tears go out to the Puma family and all Chris's friends. Rest In Peace, Chris Puma..You're a god now!
