Imagine a little bit of east and west coast flava able to cover all topics lyrically and you have none other than Prince Cat-Eyez. The 23-year-old, multiracial, openly gay rapper has been turning heads for years. As part of the historical Homo Revolution Tour, he helped spread the word of equality in hip hop across the nation. With his intense wordplay and endless supply of lyrics, he draws in audiences with his charisma, charm, and message of individuality. 2008 saw the release of Cat's debut album "The Cat-Astrophe", which spawned the hits "Downlow Tricks" and "HomoThug Chicos". Prince Cat-Eyez, known as hip hop's ghetto prince charming, was the one who coined the term "pretty thug", classifying a street smart hustler type who threw glam in the mix. Gangsta and glam, street and sweet, Cat teamed up with fellow out rappers Foxxjazell and Miss Teary in 2009 to form a Pretty Thugz Supergroup, who's "TKO: 1,2,3 Mixtape" sparked a flair in the movement for not only openly LGBT rappers, but the feminine ones as well. Later in 2009, Prince Cat's solo mixtape "Cali's Don Cheetah", sparked controversy and conversation when he turned up the heat for the movement. It was nominated for Best Mixtape Of the Year by outhiphop.com, and it won the 2009 P.C.A. Award for "Best West Coast Mixtape By A Queer Artist". Now, 2010 will spark the arrival of his sophomore album "Cat Scratch Fever", which will continue to solidify that this lethal lyricist will be spitting rhymes that make our heads bop for years to come. ....NEW P.C.E.
