It'll be out in late September. The first single from the album, 'Tribes', is out now. FEBRUARY 2011 We're currently in the studio recording album number two with Peter Miles. It's sounding pretty, pretty immense. More news to come. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Happy New Year to everyone! We've started work on our second album. We spent an afternoon demoing 20 new songs/ideas with Pete Miles at his new studio in Newton Abbot a few days ago. We're pretty excited. Watch this space. We're also off on a Euro jaunt with our buddies The Cut Ups. Check the dates and come if you can. From Devon, hard-twang, roots-punk quartet, Crazy Arm, properly set up camp in mid-2006. Not easy to categorise, and all the better for it, the band's sound is an accumulation of decades of influence and inspiration: rooted in hardcore/punk, '60s protest folk/country and classic rock'n'roll, combined with a grass-roots political overview that embraces anti-war, anti-fascist and pro-community activism. .. .. Crazy Arm's debut album, 'Born To Ruin' – recorded by Pete Miles on the edge of Dartmoor – was released on Xtra Mile Recordings in June 2009 to much acclaim from fans and critics alike. The title is a celebration of history's conscientious troublemakers as well as a respectful nod to Springsteen. The album was released on mainland Europe, through Gunner Records, on 19th March 2010. .. .. As individuals, they very much enjoy listening to the likes of 16 Horsepower, Fleet Foxes, Hüsker Dü, The Clash, Fugazi, Dick Gaughan, Woven Hand, Black Flag, The Who, Band Of Horses, X, Murder By Death, Constantines, Joni Mitchell, Austin Lucas, Ted Leo, First Aid Kit, Tragedy, Hot Water Music, The Replacements, Gene Vincent, Led Zeppelin, Arcade Fire, CSNY, Bruce Springsteen, Baroness and old bluegrass. As a band, they sometimes end up sounding a bit like all of them, sometimes all at once. .. ..
