    MANY SONGS AVAILABLE ON ITUNES/CD BABY NOW! Di has been playing piano and singing for as long as she can remember. Sitting on her dad's knee as a toddler while he played exquisite Bach has left its mark, with memories of Bach's beautiful chord sequences creeping into her own work and covers of some of her interpretations of old and new songs. It's like, you recognise the song she is singing and playing but she has made it her own. And why not? She has been playing in the piano bars in Glasgow and created a space for herself where you know you can go along to either chill to The Stones' Waitin' on a Friend, Elvis Costello's Alison, Duffy's Warwick Avenue, DJ Sammy's Heaven, or Travis' Sing or sing your heart out to Stereophonics' Wonderwall, Elton John's Your Song, Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl, Pixie Lott's Cry Me Out, or Fleetwood Mac's Don't Stop, Alisha Keys, Snow Patrol, Feeder, Radiohead, Glasvegas, Nickleback, Alanis Morisette, Biffy Clyro........... She is getting a reputation for creating a brilliant ambience especially around her chillout songs and has been asked to play at intimate wedding ceremonies and private parties. She would love to record more (and this will most definitely happen) but there's only so much a mum of four and a full time Marie Curie Nurse can do at the moment! Happy to play for free for charity events. Looking forward to a long career in music....(Life begins at 40).     Di has always done her own thing. Life and the choices she has made are her influences. Working up at the hospice is a real reminder of how precious family and friends are and nothing should be taken for granted. Also, the work ethic and tenacity of certain people around me remind me that it is worth it in the end...Wendy, Amy, Sandra...and the love and support of friends and family, incl. Annemarie, Jack, Kirsty, Sue, Janice and Kenny, Nick and Wend, keep my feet on the ground when the going gets tough. My beautiful kids keep me grounded too, Matthew, Antonia, Damian and Murray all precious gems given into my care :). I am not the best Mum but I think they will forgive me in time... especially when that home made apple crumble appears :)
