.. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... .......... .... Having started mixing at the very tender age of 14, Sin would go to any length to get his hands on a pair of CD players and a mixer. Having entered many dj competitions, Sin soon realised that mixing in front of an audience was completely different to mixing at home. Finally, his first real break came in the year 2000 when he won the biggest underage dj comp there was, Metro nightclubs! Winning this competition saw him claim a years worth of vinyl from central station records. At this stage of his career, Sin was playing funky vocal house with a bit of uplifting club trance, however this was set to change when he hit the real club scene soon after turning 18. "I walked into the club and could not believe the sounds I was hearing, music I could never have dreamt of, it was love at first sound!" The music of course was Hard Trance. Soon after joining Melbourne’s club culture, Sin realised that it would not be as easy as he thought to get behind the decks of a packed venue. "The first thing I used to do when I walked into any club was walk straight up to the dj booth and see who was spinning, the majority of my night would be spent watching the dj’s every move." Sin started producing his own music as a means of doing something different, a way to avoid being labled as just a DJ. As much as he loved djing, he could never prepare himself for the joy that came from producing his own music. "I would spend night after night in the studio just working on track after track after track, just searching for that perfect melody, that perfect beat, the perfect song!" Sin finally got a chance to play some of his original tracks to a packed venue when Bubble Nightclub announced it would be hosting it’s first ever DJ Competition in the search for it’s newest resident! The crowd really responded as Sin started each of his sets in the competition with an original track each week, finally making it all the way to the finals of what would no doubt be a turning point in his career. "I couldn’t believe it! Everthing I had ever dreamed and hoped for was going to be decided from one 30 minute set." Well the night came, and Sin won the competition which would soon open the door to everthing he’s ever worked for. Six months down the track and DarkSin had been making the Bubble dance floors erupt week after week with his tough, energetic and interactive style of mixing, as well as playing a style of music that you wouldn’t hear too often in Melbourne club land. "I was always into hard trance and hard dance, but when I got a taste of some proper hard style, and saw the crowds responce to a set, I could not turn back, they absolutely loved it, and so did I!" DarkSin’s life took another major twist when he entered and won the Advent*jah 2005 Icon producers competion. This competition meant that his original music had now been recognised as some of the best upcoming productions nation wide, and the prize not only won him a chance to play the winning track to thousands of eager punters on the main stage of the Advent*jah festival, but he also got to meet producers such as Steve Hill, Paul Glazby, Dave Lea, Chris Liberator & K90, just to name a few. "I actually got my Overdrive record signed by Scot Project on that stage about 3 years ago, so the chance to be up there on that same stage playing a song I produced myself, and to be surrounded by such international talent, was a sensational moment for me."

ey bud, just to be brief, just heard your trakz, n ill be perfectly honest like no-one else will,
you and alot of people out there have got no-idea what hardstyle is supposed to be.
have a listen to a bit of my sound that im workin on with a bit of an industrial touch, to make it hard,
unlike every-other faggot, thats trying to make hard shit an has no-idea what hard, dark, evil, dirty IS.
Because everyone that thinks their making hardstyle are only making cheesey, with no-balls hard trance.
not being a cunt just being honest. WE'RE BOTH learning but see wot you think of my stuff...
