About me:
Idle Lovers proudly introduce 'Down At The Funfair' - their very own evening of music, pandemonium and fairground delights.
Expect visual delights, handpicked disc jockeys, our favourite bands of the moment, and of course a live set from the resident songsmiths Idle Lovers, proffering their trademark quirk-pop new-wave sounds.
From the flashing lights to the dark menacing underbelly, come and enjoy the whole spectrum of nocturnal diversions.... Down At The Funfair.
Masterminded from their HQ located amidst the treetops and tenements above an old East-End pub, the infamous pop-cabaret club night has to date witnessed thrilling live performances from Hatcham Social, Ratty-Rat-Rat, Drew Babyshambles' Helsinki, The Fabulous Penetrators and several others, supported by an eccentric cast of characters that include the Rubbishmen Of Soho, Punch & Judy and the Rector of Stiffkey.
