.............................. .... ........ Staying true to the basic principles of House and Techno and not bowing down to the latest hype is something many DJs claim but rarely actually achieve. In possession of expert timing and sixth sense of what dancers will respond to, Dudley Strangeways has developed a classic sound without ever sounding dated. A perfectionist both in the studio and behind the decks, Dudley’s hard work is now coming to fruition. With constant attention to technical detail, Dudley seamlessly mixes up modern releases with the jacking beats towards the back of his box, putting a contemporary spin on deep, acidic and tech house. Informed by early Prodigy and Rave and the sound of the Hacienda, a sound knowledge of dance culture was developed through days toiling in a record shop, with lost weekends at Renaissance and other seminal nights. Dudley has built on the string of residencies across the Midlands and London after consolidating his reputation as a resident of the notorious Back To The Future parties at the city’s Stealth club. Skills honed warming up for the likes of Terry Francis, Phil Weeks, Eddie Richards and Brett Johnson are now taking him onto the international circuit with gigs across Europe including Berlin and Romania. On the production front, Dudley’s reputation has rocketed in the short time since his first solo release on Nottingham’s Shrink Records in 2009. A successful partnership with Retrac has seen DJ support from Terry Francis and Slam for Dumb Drum on Fullbar, while the Oh Melody EP on Resopal Schallware rocked the Get Physical party in Miami. More Resopal EPs and a release on Evasive are in the pipeline, with more trademark driving, edgy house set to drop from the in form pair. Another of their tracks, Stop Rewind has been regularly popping up on Richie Hawtin’s Twitter listings. Now firing on four fronts as DJ and producer, Dudley’s love of the groove and dedication to quality are bound by his own eclectic interpretation of House Music; timeless, hedonistic and clinical - but with soul to boot. dudleystrangeways@back2thefuture.eu www.back2thefuture.eu www.myspace.com/dudleystrangeways (+44) 7504441668 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              (+44) 7504441668      end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              (+44) 7504441668      end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              (+44) 7504441668      end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              (+44) 75044 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting              (+44)
