..INFO:.... Fairgreen Studios - run by Fairgreen guitarist Brian Melvin and drummer Kenny Kingsborough. Over the course of our years in Fairgreen, we've been in the studio many times, and what know what it's like to write and record your own music. Having worked with several great artist and producers such as Dan Muckula(Producer of Backstreet Boys/The Afters/Brandon Heath) Nick Baumhardt(Guitarist of Thousand Foot Krutch) and Lu Rubino(Singer/guitarist of Story Side B) and putting in the time to know what it takes to make a great recording, we've developed a set of skills that allow us to produce a quality recording at a budget price. .. In addition to producing a quality recording, we also offer assistance in the musical aspect of your record if needed. These include song structure/chord progressions, additional guitar parts, vocal melodies and harmonies, background vocals, drumming/percussion, etc. .. Being a part of a recording band for years, we understand what bands or solo artists are looking for in a record, how to make the most of your time in the studio, and love to work with anyone who's interested. .. You can contact us at ..fairgreenmd@yahoo.com.. with "recording" in the subject line to inquire about rates, scheduling, or any other questions... ....*Please review below section before booking time*...... ..RATES:.... We currently charge ..$200/song... Mixing and mastering included. This includes tracking of typical band instruments: drums, bass, guitar, vox, keys, percussion. Please let us know in advance if you will be tracking additional parts or if your song(s) are 5+ minutes as this may incur additional charges. .. ..GEAR:.... Gear we have available for use:.. Send an email over to ..fairgreenstudio@gmail.com.. with:.. - How many songs you're looking to record.. - Link to some songs/demos you have.. - Dates/Times you're available to record.. ..ADDITIONAL INFO.. (Please read before booking).. Recording your music can be a very exciting experience. There's nothing more rewarding than having a finished, great sounding record that's a product of your work and creativity. Here are some things that will help you make the most of your experience here in the studio. We offer by the songs rates as an alternative to hourly to help take some of the pressure out of recording. Please make sure that your songs are fully written, and that you're able to perform them well before coming in the studio. .. ..Additional recording time.. is $50/day. We will work with you to determine a schedule based on the amount of songs you're looking to record. We will schedule ample time (plus a little extra) to complete the songs. .. Also some things to consider in preparation for your recording time:.. If possible - determine the tempo(in bpm) for your songs. Having these tempos ready beforehand will be very helpful... Being able to play to a metronome (click track) is a vital skill in studio recording. We highly recommend practicing your songs to one before coming in. This will not only free up time spent getting an acceptable take - having tight performances ensures the overall quality of your recording. There are many free metronomes available online if you don't have one.
