Emily Musolino

Bio:

.. Emily Musolino is an accomplished singer, songwriter, guitarist, arranger and producer originally from Durham, North Carolina. Her music can be described as Etta James meets Ella Fitzgerald with an acoustic twist. Now based in Boston, she is currently attending Berklee College of Music with a major in Contemporary Writing and Production. She has been writing and performing regularly since 2005 and is currently playing and recording with her nine-piece blues/soul/roots band, Hellfire and Honey, for which she writes and arranges all of the music. Emily is also a member of the Songwriter’s Soul Kitchen, a collective of musicians, poets and visual artists run by internationally acclaimed singer/songwriter Vinx. Soul Kitchen members include well known and respected artists such as Ysaye Barnwell from Sweet Honey in the Rock and Heston Francis. Emily’s talent, creativity and versatility make her the musician to look out for in 2011!
