Then he starts his guitar and composition studies at the conservatory, brilliantly graduating in 1980. He also studies in Spain with José Tomàs, and in France with Betho Davezac. During these years he travels all over the world playing as soloist and in several duos, performing at exotic cities like New Delhi, Istambul, Rio de Janeiro, Lima and Montevideo, and European capitals like Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Budapest and Bucarest. Since 1985 most exciting musical experience has been playing with Logos Ensemble, whose group he is one of the founders. Together with Logos he plays at important festivals and concert societies in Italy and in various European countries like Spain, England and Germany; he works closely with significant contemporary composers playing many world premières of their pieces; he compose and arranges his own works and is performing them at the moment with Logos in several concerts. His works have been performed in notable Italian and European theatres. .... ..Eugenio Becherucci is today among the few guitarists who successfully play the most difficult contemporary music: his large knowledge of guitar repertoire makes him experienced in ancient music for lute and similar historical instruments, in Afro and Latin American modern production, in classical music of 19th century.
