Festival Annual is back for a third consecutive year, documenting the very best of the 2011 summer festival season. Made by thousands of festivalgoers uploading photos and tweeting, Festival Annual is a unique portrait of contemporary Britain at play.

Festival Annual 10 is out now. Featuring iconic images from the best music festivals of last summer, taken by the real stars of the festivals: the festivalgoers themselves. Covering 29 festivals across the summer, the book is an authentic record of all the sunburned, rain- soaked and mud-caked revelry which started at the Isle of Wight Festival in June and ended at Bestival in September. Other festivals covered include: Glastonbury celebrating its 40th birthday, T in the Park, Oxegen, Sonisphere, Global Gathering, Underage, Latitude, Lovebox, Secret Garden Party, The Big Chill, V Festival, Creamfields, Reading and Leeds. The success of 2009's Festival Annual meant that an additional eight festivals were included in last year’s edition.

Throughout the summer, festivalgoers of all generations – from teen to hippy – will once again upload, tag and share their festival photos for inclusion in Festival Annual 11. More than 22,000 people helped to make the 312-page book in 2010, via Festival Annual’s Facebook and MySpace pages and via stories shared on Twitter.
