So, were not breaking up after all! - READ!

What? <--------- That's probably what your thinking right now. We know.Over a month ago-ish, we decided to disband. Now those reasons and things will stay in the band and are very close and personal to us. God has shown us new directions in our lives and is equipping us individually for more awesome and awesome things - in other areas, not just this band. It was a type of thing were we had to give everything we thought of ourselves, this band, and ministry up and discover a new approach God is trying to show us.We really had to get re-broken for the people that do not know our savior, Christ Jesus. We had to take down some walls between us as a band. We had to let God reinvent what this ministry will, can, and shall be. And also reinvent ourselves and walk.Sometimes when you let go of something you hold tight and dear, that's when God can really have it, and mold it. After talking, we decided that the call for the lost is too great. People are dying. Dying as they live, dying as they decay, and dying in this body - and possibly Hell.We can't have that. It's game on time.And we also LOVE worshiping the King of Kings with you guys! :)"so what about the "last show"? " you may ask? - well it's going to be Jordan's last show with us, and our "hiatus" show.We love Jordan very much, and the Lord is using in some awesome ways up in the Muncie are at The Wellhouse Community Church, doing ministry and building a new studio! Woot! So that's what God is doing with him! And we say "hiatus" show because we will rebuilding with a new lineup and writing new songs. We would like to have a full length CD ready to roll - then hit it hard with shows and touring. So it may take a minute to get all that done. But who knows! God may make it happen quick too! :)WE LOVE YOU GUYS ALL VERY VERY MUCH!SEE YOU SOON!LOVE AND BLESSINGS,BRITTANY, JARED, AND CHRIS.ps - if your interested, we are looking for bass and drums. We (believers) have preached verse 16 forever. And why not? its awesome.
But i was thinking today, how often do we share the rest of this message Jesus had. Like verse 17 is almost directly opposite of what the world thinks of Jesus. Have we lost sight of the basic message of love that God has for us?
I read this and think 1) ya, Jesus is awesome. 2)it's one of the scriptures that reveals Jesus' true nature. and 3) People are naturally attracted to dark. Now what is dark to you, may not be dark to someone else. What someone might find a struggle, someone else may not. Yet the same Jesus loves us, regardless of all our inequities.

Speading slander, lies, ect = nasty. This checked my heart.
So I've been thinking.
When was the last time my mouth has just sang praise to God all day?
Besides that, when was the last time I spoke positively all day? Not being negative as much and trying to be uplifting and not destroying to people. We need to strive to encourage, to cheer up, to be a light.
Ive been guilty of letting my words not do this, we all have.
Me, you, that person.
This band, your band, that band.
We all do it, believers or not.I'm not judging you. I'm judging me and my walk in accordance to the Word of God.
Think of all the times our mouths have gotten us in to trouble by not using it to as a tool for Ministry, encouragement, and as living water.
Here's some word i was reading. (NIV)
Proverbs 6:
16 There are six things the LORD hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 a false witness who pours out lies
and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.
Exodus 23
1 "Do not spread false reports. Do not help a wicked man by being a malicious witness.
2 "Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd, 3 and do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.
Eph 4
29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.Luke 6:45 - The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart.
