recipe,article,and art guidelines for Fuel For The Boiler 2

busyOK folks,the guide lines are going to be similar to last year. though several of you are new to this project (feel free to download a free copy over at lulu.com) so here we go recipes:
Recipes preferably will be one you created, however they dont have to be. it can be any recipe you have made and enjoyed that *is not copy righten to another person* please have all recipe submissions to be by Febuary 10th. (almost all recipes will be accepted folks) please feel free to write up a little blurb aobut your recipes or send in a picture of the completed dish. please note i will have to resize it to fit the formatt of the book.
Articles:
ok this book is going to have a chapter titled "What is this Steampunk you speak of?" in this chapter all those willing are given the space to decuss were steampunk has been where its going or what its potelntial is. feel free to get sociio-political, spritiual,envirotmental or most any thing else so long as it is not inflamitory or derogary to anyone. please keep your articles below 4 type written pages, but longer that 1/2 type written page if you can. Please submit your Articles by January 15th.
Art:
this year i will be taking submission of steampunk creations or creators! so all you mad scientists send me pictures (nice ones they need to be high quolity high res images) of your creations or you with your creations! i already have the Lovely Donovan sisters (of clockwork cabaret) sending me some images. as well as one other. however i am willing to jam pack with book with art work!
Please have your art work to me by January 5th.

contentI would first like to thank everyone who has already baught a copy of the book! I honestly didnt have any expectations to sell ANY copies much less 22 of them. Now on to news:
a Mr Jake Von Slatt currently has a copy of our book in his hands and is reading it over do to a review on his website the steampunk workshop ( www.steampunkworkshop.com ) i hope he enjoys it and i hope he gives us a nice informative review for those who have not yet bought it! Also i have submited my book to review to have it added to the national seller list. In other words in a handful of weeks Fuel For The Boiler:A Steampunk Cookbook, will be listed on dozens of websites including amazon.com! very happy day for my self and those who contributed recipes.
Also the current working title for next years edition is Fuel For The Boiler: A Compendium of Culinary Experamentation. I have begun writting up my recipes and once i am finished i will start taking recipe submissions from everyone who wants to contribute. I also will be holding a contest to see whos art gets put on the COVER as well as the chapter on Gogglemas. i will start that contes tin October. the two winners will get the ONLY hard back versions of the book to be released. in other words i will have three hard backs made mine and two others for the winners, then retire that line.
Lastly i hope to be at next years Ravenwood festival. I was not able to make it however next year i WILL be there and i will have an entertaining suprise for all who attend.

Book Sales and Next Years Book

breezyThus far i have sold 16 books. not great numbers but honestly more than i had hoped to sell. so i will beging working on next years edition. next years edition will have a chapter dedicated to Gogglemas. i tihnk i will also have an intro to Gogglemas in it. what is gogglemas where did it start the mythology behind it(all created by the steampunk community of course) i have started adding my own recipes already. and i hope to name each chapter a bit more inventivly thisyear. so if you have an idea for chapters let me know. chapter will be thus:
Main courses
Breads and cookies
appetizers,beverages,and candies
side dishes
soups salads and sandwiches
and other (other will have things like sauces and jellies etc..)
if you have any title ideas please feel free to post them here.
the book will still be Fuel For The Boiler but it could use a different sub title the working title is A Steampunk cookbook. if you have a better idea let me know!
