Formed in June 2006, SLY is a music collaboration of Singer/Songwriter Stephanie Yanez and Instrumentalist/Songwriter Full Metal Ninja..... ..[STEPHANIE YANEZ].... Discovering music at the age of 5, Stephanie Yanez was born to sing. Her love for music eventually led her to record four songs on Geneon’s Anime Karaoke Collection with three of those songs recorded with I’VE, a Japan-based record label. This CD also includes the winning song that she performed at Anime Expo’s AX Idol 2004 “Ningyo Hime” from the top anime series Chobits! Yanez’s powerful and unique voice demands attention at live performances. Her accessible pop melodies are well balanced with edgy, alternative flavors and vocal distortions.
