DJ DIM has dared to assault audiences internationally with his unique brand of „Groove-a-go-go“ music. Specializing in groovy cover versions of hit songs everybody knows, DJ DIM navigates through an extensive history of music, ranging from 20’s – 30’s Nostalgia, through 40’s – 50’s Swing, a healthy stopover at the Flower Power 60’s, and a few gems from 70’s – 00’s.

The music is in styles which baffle the unsuspecting listeners: Big Band Swing, Bluegrass, Boogaloo, Bossa, Cha-Cha, Foxtrot, Funk, Mambo, Moog, Polka, Punk, Rock 'n' Roll, Rockabilly, Samba, Sitar, Ska, Surf, and yes, Hawaiian. Naturally Danceable, the variety of styles pulls the listener onto the dancefloor in an uncontrollable frenzy!

DJ DIM, also being a professional drummer and percussionist, accents the beat driven grooves with "toys" from his ever-increasing bag 'o' tricks.

A sample of his playlist tunes, will shock your musical tastebuds, causing anyone to question "Whatever Happened to All of the Fun in the World?". Sometimes referred to as a Connoisseur of Kitsch, DIM has been preserving it in his own special way!

DJ DIM has played his one-of-a-kind "Happenings" in many clubs and locations, and in many countries, including: The Pudel Club (Hamburg), The Six-Pack (Cologne), Kukuk (Zurich), Cargo Bar (Basel), and The Cadillac Club (Washington, D.C.).

Being currently based in Munich, Germany, DJ DIM has frequently played at Local Favorites: The Aloha Bar, The Atomic Cafe', Balan, Blaues Haus, Cafe' Mozart, Cafe' Ringlenatz, Club 2, Cord, Jennerwein, Kilombo, Ksar, Marstall, Pomp, Prager Frühling (former Babalu), The Scalar Lounge (and former Egon Bar), Salon Erna and Starsky's (Kunstpark Ost).

Special Events are continually being scheduled, like The Naked Dance Party (Blacklight Bodypainting and Glo-a-go-go) and Holiday Parties (featuring Holiday themed music e.g. Christmas, Halloween, Hawaiian, etc.). DIM has even "mixed" recordings with a live 15-piece band, alternating between playing discs and playing drums!

DJ DIM also creates his special atmosphere at Private Parties of any size or location, past events including outdoor events, theatre parties, a boat, and even a castle! Everything is possible, but you have to contact DIM to make it happen!
