Her Fearless Heart is a movement dedicated to ending the suffering for those who struggle with issues such as depression, suicide, self-harm and eating disorders. We provide information, support and referral to anyone who asks for it and lend an ear to those who need someone to talk to. This organisation has come a long way since it’s creation. Back in 2008, Her Fearless Heart began as an online Myspace journal for a young girl dealing with some strong emotional trauma. As time went by she realised that there were people out there that related to her story, they knew how she felt. Some offered support while others admired her strength. Her eyes were opened up to a whole new world of suffering when she opened up her blog to her followers and encouraged them to share their stories. So many people were hurting and seeking out refuge within her blog. Conversations were had and stories were told. A coming together of a community that identified as broken, hurt and alone mended themselves together in a place full of love, compassion and understanding. People from all over the world were invited to take part in this global conversation, to add their chapter and help to end the suffering. Our young girl then decided that Myspace was such a limited place for people to receive the help that they needed so she proceeded to spreading the word to a Facebook page, as this was the new social rage that was taking over the Internet. More conversations have been created, more stories shared and a lot of support gained. But one thing remained. The problems. Yes people could talk about their issues each and every day, as someone was always online to talk to, but this didn’t always mean they would go away. Sure sometimes talking helped and it was all someone would need, but so many others were screaming to be saved. Today Her Fearless Heart is a dedicated organisation for giving information and referral to our friends and those who are in need. We want to hear your stories and we want to be able to point you in the right direction of somewhere you can get the help that you deserve. Whether it be a mental health issue, or maybe somewhere you can spend the night when it’s too difficult at home. We have the resources and information to help you with this. If you need any information, or perhaps just someone to talk to, don’t be afraid to send us a message or even an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can. If someone’s online, just say hi, we promise we won’t bite and we’re always up for a chat :) We’re here for you guys whenever you need, if you don’t feel like talking about what’s bothering you, just say hi anyway, we love to make new friends ^_^ Note: We are not a 24hr help service so if you feel you are in immediate danger or need emergency assistance we urge you to call Lifeline on 13 11 14. Photobucket …It's hard for me to recall where I was then, timelines, sequence of events, details…they all blur together for me. I do remember that I was used and abused, willingly and wrongfully, then tossed aside. If He, or She, wasn't hurting me, then I was. I had taken all of my insecurities and allowed everyone and anyone to reinforce the thoughts and names I had given myself. I longed for justice, for redemption, but it was such a foreign concept… I look at my life now, at the wounds that have healed, and the scars left behind, and I realize how far I have come in the past few years. Today I don't view myself as devalued, I am not "leftovers" for someone to pick through. I have fought to value myself, first and foremost, and in turn, have learned how to value others as well. For whatever reason, I have this odd analogy in my head, a picture of the girl that was, and the girl that is becoming.

"You need to know that rescue is possible, that freedom is possible, that God is still in the business of redemption. We're seeing it happen. We're seeing lives change as people get the help they need. People sitting across from a counselor for the first time. People stepping into treatment. In desperate moments, people calling a suicide hotline. We know that the first step to recovery is the hardest to take. We want to say here that it's worth it, that your life is worth fighting for, that it's possible to change."
