..........MyHotComments.. ...... First and most importantly, I am a Christian. That does not mean I am perfect! I have accepted my Lord & Savor Jesus Christ into my heart ( Oct. 2006) and I haven't been the same since! I realize that my Savor is the only person that will always love me and never leave me; once I realized that, I knew I couldn't live contently nor happily without him. With this life that he has blessed me with I want to use it genuinely to help others regain their hope. I believe He has planned that I become a writer. I believe this is true, because it wasn't want I wanted, but what my Savor has put in my path. Although I know many parts of my fate will be hard and seem impossible, I will try my best t o fulfill what He wants for me. I will write not only my own testimony but the testimony of others, along with many stories that this life has made for many of us. I believe people go through more pain and suffering than they do happiness. I plan to help other obtain their faith, hope, courage, wisdom, and to show people, everyone I can, that no matter what they are NOT alone. I believe that is what God has planned for me..... Kelly Hatch aka Lyrikel, took her first breath on an early December morning in 1987. She grew up wanting to do many things, though like most she felt as if nothing was capable for her. She had been writing poetry and even R&B song lyrics since 2005 but never let too many read her work. 18 years old, and she was still going down the wrong path, until her first poem that she'd written was finally published in 2006, and a friend helped her realize her true passion; writing. Her 2nd year in college, and she was finally going down the path that she felt, "Is the path God created for me." In Fall 2009 she will be transferring, finally, to a University to Major in English concentrating on Writing..... Lyrikel has been in love with Hip Hop since she can remember (about 1998). She heard "That Thing" by Lauryn Hill and "Poetry" by BDP and was hooked! Going through some tough times in her life, she realized that she wanted to speak out about things in life that matter. She wants to be a voice to voices that have been forced silent. That is why she chose writing..... In 2007, she met a young man who became her first true love, Frederick Frazier-Fearbry, who many called 'G'. He was apart of a rap group called G.P.N (http://www.myspace.com/gpnallstars) in Pittsburgh, PA, who Kelly will always be apart of. The first time she heard G rap, he became her biggest inspiration. They would stay up late free-styling on opposite sides of the couch and listen to each other rap. She would freestyle just for fun, knowing, believing, and having faith that G would one day do it as a career. Problems happened and G had to go back to Pittsburgh for what was suppose to be no longer than a week, but this did not end their relationship. One day in September G called Kelly and told her to check out his music page ( http://www.myspace.com/gpnlieutenant ), he had got together with G.P.N and had recorded one of his raps: she had not smiled in her whole life the way she did that night! Not to long after he got his rap recorded, still in Pittsburgh, G was caught in a shooting and was shot and killed on September 29, 2007. While devastated Kelly turned to G's love; rapping. She started off trying to be able to do the talent, so she can in a small way carry on G's dream, and soon began to truly love it..... Although becoming a rapper is not one of her major dreams, it is a part of writing and getting her voice heard. Kelly is now 21 years old, and has came a long way from that little girl who thought she had no talents. Her talents now consist of: Writing; poems, songs, freestyles, rap songs, and one day novels, oh, and Photography, she will continue to make a life living these dreams. Kelly's goal in all her talents is to show those who read, listen, and see her work, their own talents, and dreams. She wants to send the message "No matter what you went through, and no matter what you will go through, there is always a way out. No matter if your stuck in an illness, an abusive relationship, or a destructive pass, follow your heart to make a good life, out of the bad life. There is always something good that can come from something bad, I am proof, it IS possible, and you do and will always have your voice!
