James Murphy

Bio:

James picked up his first pair of drumsticks at the age of 12 and has not put them down since. James graduated from Berklee College of Music in May 2003, with a Bachelor of Music in Performance: Drum Set Principle. James is a drummer for the Blue Man Group Boston and rocks the kit with the Boston-based bands: Elephant House and 3Vibe. Over the past several years, James has had the opportunity to perform with many great bands and musicians: Tempting Fate Revue, Eguie Castrillo, Ma'ayan Castel, Mike Verge, Jushea Rose, Leo Mellace and members of West 8 Five, Sam Kininger Band, Boston Horns, and John Brown's Body. He has also shared the stage with Rich Robinson of the Black Crowes, Antigone Rising, Fabolous, The Adam Dietch Project, Gary Cherone, J-Live, and the Sam Kininger Band.
