Jimmy Schultz

Bio:

Jimmy Schultz has been a force to be reckoned with in the metal music industry for over 20 years. With humble beginnings in Orange County, California he started the instrumental metal band Tyranny in high school with his best friend and they continued on to record an album and play multiple shows across Southern California.

Over the years, Jimmy has continued to have a solid project history, being sought out to record numerous albums for many bands while being in a couple full time bands. He's often recruited to play shows for bands, sometimes at the last minute with days to learn the songs before the show. He has impeccable timing and an unimaginable memory when it comes to music. He can play a show after only 1-2 practices and be spot on. His ear for melodies and songwriting also enables him to be an integral part of the writing and recording process. Even at the rear of the stage, he is a showman at it's best.

Last year with his band New Eden, he traveled to Elmshorn, Germany to play the Headbangers Open Air Festival just outside the city. Over the years he has traveled to numerous locations in California, Arizona and Nevada, making him a well known, well respected drummer in the industry.

He currently lives in Orange County, California with his family and works with a printing company in Fountain Valley, California.
