.... .... .. ...... ....I'm not the guy your parents warned you about... I'm the guy your parents pray that you never meet.".... I'm not your knight in shining armor... I'm just an idiot in aluminum foil."........ Jump in your truck, slam it down in gear, and take off for a ride that can last up to 8 hours at a time. That's what my life is. I've lived the last 7 years of my life committed to two main things... Managing construction during the day, and playing music at night..... After graduating high school, I left the rural community of Kosciusko, Texas and headed for the city lights of San Antonio in pursuit of my career as a Project Manager building roadways and subdivisions. Throughout the years I've worked hard at learning the industry and climbing my way up the ladder. I started this career making $7.00 an hour holding a survey rod and very little knowledge of what I was doing. To this day, I am now an Estimator for one of the largest Sitework contractors in the State of Texas. I know that it might now sound very difficult, but I'm proud of what I have done with my career without ever attending college. .... Almost every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I head out of town to play shows all over this great state and beyond. Through the years I've been privledged to play with many great groups, including leading my own band... Takin' Back Texas. But after 2 years of hard touring, we decided that it was time to do something different. .... After a few really hard months and one fateful night, I had hit rock bottom. I soon learned a lot about myself and things that I had carried with me my entire life that I did not know. From that very moment, I began my ride down this new road of life towards happiness and peace. .... Shortly after, I got a call to come play for one of the many people that I had come to respect, Jarrod Birmingham. I've been really lucky to be a part of this great group of really talented musicians, including playing along side of who I credit as being my mentor, Billy High. What's even more amazing is the entire group that's on stage. It's really crazy... Only a few years ago, I would pay money to go see guys like Kevin Fowler, Cory Morrow, Chris Cagle, and even Jarrod. Now, I play with guys from these very bands. .... .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
