Yo! My name's Jimmy Green, Hip Hop Machine (or so I'm told!).

I make beats for rappers and singers, and do a small amount of work as a studio engineer for local acts like Gully Regiment and Peps.

BUT I ALSO DJ!

In the past I've

A) held down residencies at two clubs in Canterbury for a year, playing Student Nights at The Works and 70s Nights at Club Airlock, playing alongside Jazzie B (Soul II Soul) at the Summer Ball 1999

B) played two shows a week for three years on C4 Radio in Canterbury,

C) been the first DJ in Britain to play a live DJ set on online student radio (C4 Radio, back in 97)

D) DJed as one of the Original Wildstyle DJs in Canterbury with Mark 1

C) DJed as one of the founder members of The Mothership in Ipswich (big up Son Of Jor-El)

D) Been one of the resident DJs for 36th Chamber (big up Ed) alongside DJ Paulo

E) Started Stupid Fresh with DJ Paulo and the Askews, and been one of the co-presenters for the radio show of the same name on ICR

F) Been one of the original resident DJs for IpSpit, playing across East Anglia

G) DJed for IpSpit at Music In The Park twice, in front of a thousand or so people each time

H) Been one of the original resident DJs for the Rapsploitation Sessions, DJing for DPF, Cuninam The Hobo, Sir Smurf Lil and Conspicuous

I) Become half of The Payback DJs with DJ Rich

J) Played at FunkFest 07 with DJ Rich... and we ripped it! hahaha

However, people tend to forget this, or they don't know it, so I rarely get asked by any of the cool kids to play at their nights. Fine, I thought, I'll start my own, I was bored playing for other people anyway.

So, after some encouragement from my Dad out in Spain, and Damian at The Swan (top lad) I decided to start up my own infrequent night where I play all music that I like.... and there we are.
