.. .. I was born in Manchester, England and picked up the harmonica at an early age. Left home as a teenager and travelled around Europe playing harmonica and guitar on the street, in bars and later with bands in clubs. Spent some time in Geneva and somehow ended up in Berlin. I settled here, running a bar for more than a decade and playing music in my spare time. .. .. The last five years I've been doing only music - playing around with the possibilities of the blues and related music and trying to tell stories in song. I've been involved in a good many bands and musical projects, worked as a studio musician and assistant engineer in recording studios. Recently I've also been writing and recording music for film and television. .. .. .. My current projects are: .. .. * The BossHoss - I am Hank Williamson, playing harp, mandolin, washboard and stylophone. I joined the band in may 2007 and since then we've toured around quite a bit and I love it. In september we recorded the new album STALLION BATTALION Record out 26.october 2007 .. .. * Kutzkelina and the devils harmonica - this is a funky cowboy yodeling band. .. check this out www.kutzkelina.de .. .. * A project called Quick and Quiet: This is a collaboration between Richard Pappik ( Element of Crime ) and myself.
