Marc Young

Bio:

Marc Young was born in 1982 in Amsterdam and got in touch with electronic music when he was about 18 years old. Marc’s fascination for music lies basically within every single music genre you can think of varying from Jazz and Clasical till Funk and from Dub/Roots Reggae till Drum ‘n Bass. Marc’s interest in Techno orientated music grew when he discovered that Techno possessed a big advance compared to other genres within dance music, and is still fascinated by the potential of Techno to evaluate itself thru time and the ability of progressing itself thru different subgenres. This obviously is keeping the Techno industry interesting and Marc loves to see/hear the creativity of a lot of talented artists these days. Marc Young’s sets and music can be described as Rhythmic, Deep and Puristic and Travels thru different genres varying from Spherical Minimal Techno to deep/dub house to Detroit house and Techno with a lot of influences from big artists from the 90’s like Maurizio, Basic Channel and Monolake and more recent artists like Anders Ilar, Marko Furstenberg and Brendon Moller and knows how to represent this sound in Deep and Dubby Rhythmical sets in which a variety of aspects within House and Techno are taken care of.
