I know it's been a while since I put out any new music, but this year is going to change all that. Currently I'm working on my new record. What I mean by that is that I'm actually engineering and producing it as well as performing. It's a huge task, but so far I'm really happy w/ the results!
My plan is to release a new single every month or so online before I put it all together as an "album". Downloads have long since eclipsed CD sales, so when the CD is finished I'll only be pressing limited quantities to sell at shows. Plus I think this will be a good way to keep people interested til the whole thing is done. We'll see...
I'd love to hear your feedback. Please leave me a comment!
Also if you're an artist looking to record and like what you hear, hit me up!
Lastly, I want to thank the people that helped my put this together.
My Band: Kjell Benner - bass Brian Aglira - keys Avery Coffee - electric guitars Ron DiSilverstro - drums (also engineered the drums)
Also thanks to: Steve LaFashia - engineered drums Mark Williams - additional electric guitars Jeff Juliano - kick ass mix engineer
emorial Day officially begins the summer season at the shore and I've got some great shows at the beach this summer. The first one is this Thursday, 5/31 @ the Borgata.
I've been entered in a contest to compete for an opening slot at the Event Center @ Borgata, (which has hosted legends like the Stones and the Who) but I need your help to win! The first round requires me to bring as many people as possible to the show this Thursday. So plan on starting your weekend early and come down and party with the Matt Santry Band in AC!
I also wanted to let you know about a charity function called "The Big Give". This Sunday, June 3, all area Kildare's will be hosting a fund raiser for the American Red Cross with live music from open to close. You can come see me @ King of Prussia Kildare's on Sunday from 2-4pm.
