The Bag Ladies

Bio:

The Bag Ladies, consisting of BEE ROCK STEADY and MESSINA SALTER originally formed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2008. The two members were first introduced to playing music in their teens, jamming in Porcupine, Ontario, dreaming of one day to write, record and perform live.

The Bag Ladies have successfully toured Eastern Ontario, in provinces such as, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and P.E.I. Northern Ontario has also been a performance stop for the duo, as far as Porcupine, Ontario.

A cameo appearance on Much Music's 'DisBand', with musical pals The Stiff Wires, has allowed the ladies to see some of the complexities of the mainstream music industry. Comfortably playing in the underground Toronto music scene has given the duo a great sense of ownership and artistic integrity.

As of early 2010, the band had made the mutual agreement to end The Bag Ladies musical venture. This band experience has left the two with great memories, friendships and respect for fellow musicians.

The two members are currently working on other musical ventures, which will manifest into new separate projects.
