Need your help guys! The Red
Bull LA studio are allowing one artist or band to record, for free, with
lodging and travel provided, to their studio in April. I just need you
guys to leave a comment telling them how awesome I am. It'll be a great
opportunity and plus it'll let me see Tiff while I'm there...so comment
away (and tell a friend to do the same...hip hip hooray)!: http://www.redbullsoundstage.com/#!/read/1338/
Good day, one and all...its your friendly neighborhood MaG
here *cue "Spider-Man and Friends" theme music*. Just want to wish
everyone peace, prosperity, love and joy this holiday season and for the
new year. Got some really great updates. Here goes:
I was selected by the Cornerstone Agency (big shout-out to Mike McKay and Karli Stein) and Converse (yeah...THOSE guys) to record at the newly built Converse Rubber Tracks Studio
in Brooklyn! This is one of the biggest accomplishments of my career to
date and I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity. You'll be hearing
more about the recordings that spring forth from the session in the
weeks to come...stay tuned!
We got the end of the year holiday edition of the Melting Pot at Pianos (158 Ludlow St.) in the Upstairs Lounge on Wednesday, December 14th. The cast of usual suspects, Jon Braman, Arthur Lewis, Webbafied, Rob Melso, myself, and the band; plus Juno Brown and Andrea Daly,
will jamming the night away. Show starts at 7PM and admission is free
($5 suggested donation), and, in return, you get great music, great
food, and great drinks...Kris Kringle ain't got nothing on us!
Thank you to one and all for the love and support. This has been an
exceptional year of growth and development for me as an artist and I've
really enjoyed this ride I'm on. Only bigger and better things to come!
P.S.- if you haven't yet, be sure to follow me on Twitter, hit me on facebook, and download all my music on Bandcamp. Peace, love, and all that good stuff!
I wanted to invite everyone and all to the NYC Rising showcase,
sponsored by SESAC, The Muse Box, Reverbnation, and Brooklyn Industries,
tonight at 6PM at Webster Hall in the Marlin Room, as part of the CMJ
Music Marathon. The show starts at 6PM and tickets are $10. I'll be
performing with the Jon Braman Band. My set starts at 8:30PM. Here's the
link along with the flyer.
