Nikola Demonja jr. is a musician (first of all saxophone player, composer, lyricist and a pianist) and was born on 23.07.1983. in Sisak, Yugoslavia. """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" First signs towards music were shown at the age of 4 and at the age of 7 he enrolls in elementary music school "Fran Lhotka" in Sisak and is forced to play accordion because of lack of choice. Finally at the age of 12 he begins playing saxophone as well, class of Milan Schmidt. Because of the war and the presence of nationalisam his family moves to Belgrade, Serbia, where he finishes elementary music schools "Stanislav Binichki" - accordion and "Kornelije Stankovic" - saxophone at Mica Markovic's class. Immidiately after that he enrolls in music Gymnasium "Kornelije Stankovic", both classical theory and Jazz department - Ivan Shvager's class. After successfully finishing high school he is accepted at "Conservatorium van Amsterdam" in the Netherlands, Ferdinand Povel & Jasper Blom's class which he succesfuly finishes at the age of 22. """"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" During all this years, he played various styles of music with various bands all over Balkan - Serbia (International Jazz festivals in Valjevo, Kragujevac, Shabac), Montenegro, Bosnia&Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia... He also performed all over Europe - Holland ( Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Almeere, Barnefeld), France (Paris), United Kingdom (London - Mean Fiddler or Astoria 2), Sweden (Stockholm, Malmoe), Norway (Oslo), Denmark (Horsens), Turkey (Int. Jazz Fest in Ankara, Istanbul), Germany (International Jazz Fest in Munich, Bielefeld, Hamburg, Dieseldorf), Switzerland (world famous "Montreux" Jazz fest in 2006. with RTS Big Band, Zurich as well), Poland (Krakow, Wrotslaw, Swijeradow, Pobijedna), Austria (Wiena), Belgium (Atwerpen), Bulgaria (Int.
