About me:
There are songs that mark pivotal moments in our lives. Songs that stand out in our memory and take us back to a place of joy, pain, love, or love lost. These are the songs you sing aloud when you hear them after a few drinks at the bar, no matter who might be watching. They are the ones you scream into the wind while driving with your windows down. They make you laugh when you hear them at work, or in line at the supermarket and the people around you wonder if they missed a joke or something. And they did. They missed it the first time you danced with that certain someone. They weren't there when you celebrated birthdays of close friends. They don't know about the time, with the guy, and the thing. Sometimes that makes it funnier, but sometimes you want to tell those stories. Here's a chance to.Our Soundtrack is an idea for a compilation of stories from our lives that we associate with specific songs that we know, love, or maybe even hate. We've all been there when the song comes on and someone chimes in, "This song reminds me of the time when...". Why don't we write it down?
Anyone interested in participating can submit 1-3 stories with associated songs and artists names listed. Stories can be submitted as word documents, or just in the body of an email, as well as handwritten with illustrations, or graphically designed with illustrations. Your submission's format could be changed though, in order to make it fit properly, or work with the over-all flow of the magazine. Submissions with image designs should be sent in the form of tiff files (at 300 dpi) to oursoundtrackproject@gmail.com or mail a hard copy of your stories the old fashioned way to:

such a great idea!
I read all the way through the first issue and found it to be phenomenal. The writing was great; it was hard to pick a favorite.
I can't wait for the next issue. Keep up the good work.
