    .............. .. ...... Outlines are long-time friends Irfane Khan-Acito, Jerome Hadey and Jay 1. Their artistic collaboration led to the release of their first album, "Our Lives Are Too Short", in 2007; already then, their work was at the crossroads of contemporary art and music, as the covers from their LP and singles were all paintings by Jay 1. Today, Outlines are pushing that concept even farther. The band has just finished recording a new album, whose sound the legendary George Clinton described as "futuristic motown". A world of art was created to accompany the music of their forthcoming album, which is executive-produced by none other than Bobby DIgital, aka the RZA... .... Outlines sont trois amis de longues date: Irfane Khan-Acito, Jerome Hadey et Jay 1. Leur collaboration artistique les mènent à sortir un premier album en 2007, "Our Lives Are Too Short". A l'époque déjà, leur travail se situe à la frontière entre culture pop et art contemporain, comme le montrent les pochettes de leur album et singles, toutes des toiles de Jay 1. Avec leur nouvel album, qui devrait voir le jour d'ici quelques mois, et dont la production exécutive est assurée par Bobby DIgital alias the RZA, le groupe pousse le concept encore plus loin en créant tout un univers artistique pour accompagner sa musique.
