On December 28, 1999 I received a four-track for my birthday. It was the start of my musical career. Writing songs had always been a hobby of mine along with playing drums, guitar, bass, harmonica, xylophone, accordion, and piano. Now I could finally put them all together on a cassette tape (to play for my friends in my Plymouth Voyager!) My decade long practice of writing music in drastically diverse genres has brought me to the release of my most recent full-length album "There's no garden at the Wayside Inn!" It's a mix between folk and country that's sure to please. The band lineup currently includes myself and Dunloy Coy. My partner Dunloy is a lonesome rambler I've recruited to share vocal duties and to keep the guitar going while I show my skills. We've already started collaborating for a potential future release, and hope to see everyone at our upcoming shows.

On December 28, 1999 Percy Shaw got a digital four-track for his birthday. Although he was already writing songs; playing drums, guitar, bass and piano; now he could put it all together on a cassette tape to play for his friends in his Plymouth Voyager! Truly I Say To You...; released in the winter of 2009; is the most recent of a total of five full-length albums recorded by Percy Shaw; all of which have received high acclaim from the four or five friend's of Percys who have copies. On November 24, 2010 Percy Shaw released a new album entitled "There's no garden at the Wayside Inn!". This album introduces yet another stylistic divergence to a more country/ folk sound. Sharing vocal duties with Dunloy Coy and backed by the multi-talented Murgatroyd Brawlers "There's no garden at the Wayside Inn" is sure to earn a place in two or three peoples iPODs (that's you Joe and Patrick!).
