Filmed by Greg Dunn..... ...... Plague the Inventor started when Practiced Bravado broke up in the December of 2003. By January 2004, James (vocals) had started Plague the Inventor with Greg Dunn, Eric Fried, Zach Broat, and Justin Rosengarden. This line up would record their first demo entitled "5234". Then with Zach leaving, and no Justin, Plague began to under go what I'm now calling "stage 2" or the "bravado stage". Cory (drums) and Marty (bass) took over and joined James who was in Practiced Bravado, and still with Greg and Eric. This lasted until Marty went off to college, Cory began working full time, and Greg went on to pursue musical greatness. With Ben Bachus from Figure I.O.D., and Ian from Sentinel, plague went on to record another demo, with two new tracks, in the fall of 2004. From here Plague went through a series of part time guitarists and bassists, and played shows sporadically. Ian quickly became their long time drummer, and was very committed. With Ben gone, Chris joined the band on the guitar, and with the summer approaching, Plague would have Marty back from school for a summer bassist. That summer, we recorded our first album entitled "Hello Citizen" with Kyle Bates. That fall they got their current 2nd guitarist, Shaun Finnegan. This begins the 4th and current stage of Plague the Inventor. Shaun(guitar), Ian(drums), Chris(bass), and the two original members Eric(guitar), and James(vox) is the current line up. Plague just recorded an ep while awaiting the "Hello Citizen" full length. The newly recorded ep was done with Matt Giordano, and includes plagues first acoustic tracks. The album they recorded in the summer of 2005 should be available in the spring. Until then we continue to play shows at local venues, and making love to many ladies. .. -James -
