  • Aug 10 - WE ARE BACK WITH NEW MUSIC!

Hey Everyone.  Long time no see!

We will be going back into the studio in September.  We will be heading off to New York for an intense session of creating, recording and avoiding sleep.

We will be posting a new website full of blogs, vlogs and updates as we work on the new songs.

In the meantime if you are in the St. Louis area, try stopping by Belleville, Illinois on the 21st of August to hear us play some of the new songs at the Ground Floor.

215 East Main St, Belleville, Illinois.'

    Thanks everyone!

  • Dec. 6 - Playback:STL Review

Here is the latest review from local music magazine Playback: STL

Guests Redding closed the night, providing the cherry atop an already satisfying show. This Greenville College quartet, currently working on the follow-up to their self-titled Rock Ridge Records debut, reminded once again how good they are. Dressed mainly in long-sleeve t-shirts, they were a respectable if casual crew; nothing about their attire distracted or commanded attention.

Onstage, they're such a self-contained unit, largely facing one another, playing for themselves; it's not a lack of stage presence, rather a lack of the need for much of one. The band at times recalls Duncan Sheik, that palatable AAA/smooth indie pop sound, though they did occasionally break into something harder: an especially rockin' Radiohead cover, a cacophonous, crashing new song. After a final bonus treat of another new song-this one featuring guitarist/vocalist Joseph Graves on piano, admittedly unfamiliar terrain for him-the band took its bows and the crowd left, fulfilled. | Laura Hamlett

  • Sept. 15 - Free Redding Ringtones

Remember about a year ago when we got really excited after finding out that someone made Redding ringtones?  Well that was quite a while ago, so maybe you don't remember.  But anyway, this company made two different ringtones for Gleam: a RealTone version (a clip of the actual song), and a Polyphonic version (you know, the kind that sounds like it was played on a cheesy keyboard).

Well back then, they each cost about two bucks or something.  But now, they're free!

You can go here and listen to each one.  Click the word "ringtone" underneath our picture.  We HIGHLY recommend the Polyphonic ringer because it's crappy and hilarious.

The only slightly annoying part is that you have to sign up and create a profile (which takes about five minutes).  But you don't have to give them any credit card information, which is nice.  Then they send it right to your phone, and BAM!  Gleam plays the next time you get a call.

    Enjoy,
    Jon
