They come from Germany, to be precise from Weimar, the region renowned for its many legendary German poets... Schiller, Goethe.... They provoke and criticize, they are multi-cultural... Their music is a Molotov cocktail of metal, folk, classic rock fused with influences of Spanish, Arabic, Scandinavian and traditional German music.

What started in the Easter regions of Germany has now spread through all of Germany, all of Eastern Europe and now is spreading like a virus across international borders. DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER have performed more than 600 shows so far which includes festival and headliner shows in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, France, UK, Russia, Czech Republic and The Netherlands. This was a world class demonstration, one of the most memorable and striking concerts in the history of St. Petersburg. We are grateful for one of the most wonderful and amazing concerts ever in Moscow. It was an unforgettable experience.

The UK has quoted DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER as the "most criminally underrated act from Germany".

Their inspiration is life itself with all of its emotional trappings. It is story telling of long endured experiences. Travelling the world plays a big role as it allows them to touch and dive into the lives and thoughts of others. They offer a new view to the beauty and tribulations of existence and forge new opinions. This is DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER!

The live stage presence of front man Fuchs is extraordinary as well. He has the unique ability to offer his lyrics in German, English Finnish, Russian and Spanish. The concept reflects that of mad scientist and border guard!

The apocalyptic theme is ever present. DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER believe that mankind is moving in the wrong direction and that it must be reinforced over and over again. They want their audience submerged into the experience and to make a turn to the positive and the relaxed.

Their many sold out shows and the steady ascend of their albums in the charts are a perfect indication of their ever growing fan base. Their last three releases all have shown ongoing, upward progress and sales figures. The 2003 release "Have A Nice Trip" reached the Top 100 for the first time in the band's history. The follow-up "Riders Of A Storm" impressed by peaking at #31 in the Media Control Charts. Their most recent effort "Light" achieved the well earner place in the Top 30, paving the way for even bigger accolades for their latest release, the upcoming album "Moral & Wahnsinn".

The newest masterpiece was recorded at the Principal Studios in Muenster. The album was produced by DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER themselves with assistance from ace producer Vincent Sorg, who has already made a name for himself with the previous albums "Licht" and "Riders On The Storm". Vincent is also responsible for the powerful mix and mastering of "Moral & Wahnsinn".

"Now that we are finished in the studio, we have the fantastic feeling that we have created something very unique, something that has never been done before. Insanity is a fantasy, morality is hard, dry reality." so responds the band when asked about this new addition to their musical history. The Reitermania never stopps! DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER will release their new masterpiece on February 25th, 2011 - „Moral & Wahnsinn" („Morality & Insanity")!
