  • Bio

Rotjoch was a Dutch band that was founded in 1978 in Hilversum, The Netherlands. In 1981 they made a single for Egmond Records (a sublabel of Polydor) called "Tomorrow/Rock & Roll Rendez Vous" produced by Jos van Woudenberg en Ronald v.d. Brink. Later that year they made the LP "Bad Boy" and a single called "Bad Boy/Berry Lover". They were also produced by Van Woudenberg en V.d. Brink. On this My Space page you can hear songs from the album "Bad Boy" and one song that was recorded for that LP but was never released. The other songs are from a demo for the second LP that was never to be (These songs were produced by Joel Komkommer), some b-sides and a demo we made later when we've changed our name to Rebel . Two other tracks were later released on VIP Records under the name of Rebel (Baby Baby Baby/No Use Crying also produced by Joel Komkommer). Most songs on this site were recorded in The Stable Studio in Arnhem and engineered by Roel Toering. The other songs were recorded in January 1985 in the SPN Studio in Amsterdam. We were playing as Rebel at that time. The line up was: Ronald, Pim, Gert Kuiter (bass) en Willem v.d. Marel (drums). On some of the video's you can see Ty Beckers on drums. All songs are written by Ronald Welgemoed.
