SANKOFA~ this symbol is an ancient african tribal symbol. The meaning behind this symbol is that one can not move forward in life until they have learned how to deal with & learn from their past in order to move forward. Definitely is where I am at in life right now after rehab, the job loss, break up etc. "Not to mention... Janet has this symbol on her wrist as well ;-)"

I found this sketch I believe through google. The artist is extremely talented & would love to talk to this person & see what other masterpieces they have created. I have been a fan since the age of 5!! So it's only right that I get one of my favorite looks from one of the best album's she has ever created "The Velvet Rope" it took all she had to finish that album. Having her own ordeals in her personal life it was a struggle to create an album & yet deal with personal issues as well. She met a wise man in the middle of the mojavi dessert which shined some light into her life. The album then was finished & the world tour was absolutely amazing. This album was deep & the look was fierce, so therefore it's a natural decision. Took no thinking really =) Not to mention the physical/mental abuse & the lies she had to deal with from her ex husband Rene Elizondo. What an ass & tried to sue her for half of all from Janet album, Velvet Rope album, & All For You album. As you can see he walked away empty handed. Let that be a lesson to those that think they are superior & can knock others down. You get what you deserve in the end so..... this is where I gather almost ALL of my strength =) Luv U Janet!!!
