Bio
Snap Pusher is a home cooked meal of music. There are no exact recipes. They add ingredients as they are cooking which makes each show or song a little different and very entertaining. Snap Pusher's music is rock-based, but they do not hesitate to mix whatever other influences are needed to get across the desired feeling of a song. Fortunately for them (and for the listener), Snap Pusher integrates these elements in a way that feels natural and real - using different styles of music to express different thoughts or moods. When it comes to live performances, Snap Pusher always goes the extra mile to ensure that viewers walk away from the gig feeling like they saw a good performance and not just a band playing music. Guest performers often sit in with Snap Pusher and theatrics are usually part of any show, but Snap Pusher never lets their showmanship get in the way of creating good music. -
Members
.... Louis Giagrande.. Instruments: Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards and Harmonica.... Lou is one of the founding members of Snap Pusher. He is a jack of all trades and enjoys bouncing around from instrument to instrument during live performances. Lou recorded a few songs under Olive Juice Records and planned to release a solo album just before Snap Pusher came together in March of 2003. He still records his own material and performs solo acoustic gigs but his main focus is Snap Pusher... .... Anthony Lopez.. Instruments: Drums, Bass.... Anthony Lopez, also known as Philip Drummin, is another founding member of Snap Pusher. His percussion and MC skills were frequently exhibited with his former band Ladies' Choice, but it wasn't until Snap Pusher formed that the public got a taste of his slick drumming skills... ....The Butcher.. Instruments: Guitar and Vocals.... No one knows where this guy is from or what he is about. He just shows up to practice or gigs with a bloody apron, wails on the guitar and goes back to where ever he is from. Music seems to be the only thing he craves more than cutting up dead animals. It's suggested you avoid asking him any questions. The Butcher doesn't like questions... ....Steve Maya.. Instruments: Percussion, Vocals, Drums and Guitar.... Maya hit the music scene as a vocalist / percussionist with Brooklyn funk band "Ladies Choice". As the Ladies Choice era was coming to an end, Steve brought his talents to the Snap Pusher crew... .. .. -
