Bio:

Spirits of Music. Music emerges from within our bodies and infinitely flows throughout them. Spirits of Music is a three-piece band that strives and focuses on positivity. Everything that the Spirits produce is born through atmospheric experimentation. During the fall of 2006 A.D. Colton, Matt, and Jeff began to jam. Thus, Spirits of Music was born. Even when the writing process had begun, it seemed as if it hadn't. The music appeared to be writing itself. For the next six months, anything outside of the room with the blue, dimly-lit blanket was a blur. The only thing that mattered was the Spirits. However, quickly these emerging, dimly-lit dreams, were exhausted. Before breaking up the party they listened, but unfortunately the fuzz were one of the first few to witness the Spirits. After relocating, the Spirits' new grounds offered an unexpected improvement. They were now able to record their first live demo, immediately leading to the bands first performances. As they continued to perform, they soon found themselves playing bigger and better shows until finally finding themselves headlining at Lubbock's Canyon Amphitheater. The Spirits of Music have performed private parties and weddings; they've rocked clubs in Dallas and melted faces in Austin. Standing o's... Colton, Jeff and Matt are fueled by unyielding dedication. They are constantly consumed with breaking past the seemingly endless amounts of barriers that continually emerge, hindering their final destinations. Creativity is work. Beginning in October of 2007 through January of 2008, the Spirits recorded their first six track EP in Dallas, Tx. at LuminousSound studios with the help of engineer, Bradlely Prakope (B-Side Audio) The Spirits are currently focusing on further building their inner talent, perfecting every aspect of what they hear and awaiting the moment when the bonfire begins.
