About me:

I make music, man!! I am a Freelance Audio Engineer/ Producer, working in and around Manhattan and Jersey. In the four years since I have made this occupation my future, fate and karma have been on my side. First was my internship with Rich Robinson, the younger half of the Robinson brothers, who of course are the leaders fo the greatest band since the fifth pocket, " The Black Crowes." From there I learned many things about vintage guitars, amps, and microphone techniques, as well as just hangin' with a hero, pretty cool. I then moved on to Eastside Sound Studios, where in two years have worked with many talented musicians, from Roy Hargrove, and Joe Claussell to Sting, Joss Stone, John Rzeznick, and Peter Frampton. In 2 1/2 years, my studio and I have been part of 3 grammy nominations, in 2005 for Roy Hargrove's "Strenth" LP which was nominated for Best Contemporary Jazz Album of the Year. In 2006 we grabbed two nominations for "Les Paul- American Made, World Played" Best Pop instrumental of the Year for a remake of the classic song "Caravan" and Best Rock Instrumental for the remake of "69 Freedom Special". My boss Fran Cathcart produced the Les Paul album and our studio spent many, many hours on that project so lets keep our finger crossed. The last few years have been fun, but its time for new beginnings..............
