..and speaking of The SEEN Festival: All are invited to participate/network/volunteer and or perform. I just dont have the money to pay acts as I stated reasons earlier in this note. As in the beginning (1996); we (The SEEN Festival) are here to give primarily local acts "the big stage". it's up to them to decide whether or not it's worth their respective time or not. on top of that, The SEEN Festival is also a benefit and canned foods drive for battered women w/children and displaced families  and a forum for AIDS AWARENESS (for nearly 17 straight years) ..a "community event".    feel free to give something to it and/or give of your talents. esspecially if you are trying to advance you career as a music act in the area.  bottomline; unless you already booked on a bigger stage and getting paid big money and think you've arrived, already and would rather be somewhere else on Saturday August 11th?   ...I/we completely understand you have our full blessings, respect and support.    ...I, just as in the beginning am only concerned about  elevating others careers and making a "big star" out of someone or at the very least, helping their "name" to grow in the industry and their respective "stock" to rise, locally. so maybe then they could obtain the "pay" they all respectively desire.   "In this game you have to TAKE CHANCES!"  like me/it or not.
