The Ballachulish Hellhounds

The Ballachulish Hellhounds are a Scottish country blues trio signed to Big Rock Candy Records. Based in Glasgow, originally from the Highlands.

The Hellhounds have been playing most of Scotlands major festivals and venues for the last 4 years. Notable gigs played include The Wickerman, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival (3 times), Dean Castle, The Edinburgh Festival, Glasgows West End Festival, The Grand Old Oprey, Barfly, Nice ‘N’ Sleazys and The Southside Festival, Glasgow.

Over the summer of 2009 they played The West End Festival, Glasgow (twice), a rocking gig at the Belladrum Festival, and a support slot on the main stage at The Kilmarnock Edition Festival with The Saw Doctors and Seth Lakeman at Dean Castle on August 9th 2009.

In 2010 The Hellhounds embarked on their first full UK tour, beginning in Inverness on the 14th May with the launch of “Songs from the Great Atlantic Ocean” and including dates from the Highlands to Hertfordshire and everywhere inbetween. The Hellhounds will be bringing their own brand of Scottish Americana the length and breadth of the British Isles during 2010/2011. 2010 saw the release of their much anticipated debut album “Songs from the Great Atlantic Ocean”. The album was released on May 7th 2010 and is available on all major download sites, including itunes, amazon, bandcamp etc, by Big Rock Candy Records.
