We reconize every thing feeling idea and thought by the name of it. Our world of situations conditions circumstances and events all go by names. So I begin my story about me with my many names before I come to my personal given to me by me name. I am so proud of my name and wish to live and die as it. Since my mother and father was not married at the time of my birth (7/23/44) I was given her maiden name of JONES thus my first name was William Jones, Jr. When I started the first grade in Jasper, Alabama (1950) my name had to be changed to William Forch, Jr. since Forch was my father's last name at that time and I had to use it why? I do not know. Using my father's last name was the same thing when I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and started the seventh grade in(1956). At that time my father' had changed his name from FORCH to Warren (he did not like his dad he left walked out when they were young kids). This was my grand-father to this day I have never meet or seen not even a picture of him. So in 1956 before entering Lincoln Jr. High School my name became William Warren, Jr. just by saying so and writting it down on a piece of paper. When I join the Navy after graduating from high school in (1962) The Navy recruiter accidentally left off Jr. and my name was William Warren until April of 1980 when I changed my name to SaaSaa Ccadot Emeka. This is how it all came about. In 1970 while living in Oakland California I was selling life insurance for the Prudential Insurance Company. I had an appointment to prepare a parent and child policy for an accounting student attending the University of California Berkley. He was an African from Nigeria named Odnachi Nwosu. (I would dearly like to see him if he is among us and not in the UN-SEEN...INVISIBLE SPACE.) He was at the time the first real live African I had every met up close and in person. After the insurance business was finished we talked about a lot of things especially the fate of the ancestor sending him over to met me and my excitement that it happened. We spent a good three hours talking, afterward, I told him that my wife was pregnant and asked him when the time came if he would name the boy and his wife would give the name if the child would be a girl. I requested that the name would be something that reflected the spirit of our shared experience. And that... I would accept it as is without question concern or challenge. On July 4, 1971 a boy was born and he was given the name of Chukudi Emeka Warrren-(Chumai for short). I had been interested in changing my name since the early 70's but I thought it would be too expensive and put it off. By 1980 I became so determine to get rid of MY EUROPEAN PLANTATION slave name that the cost did not matter any more. I gave myself the name SASSAA CCADOT. It is an acronym made up of the first letter of words. These words are ideas that I thought best expressed or represented me and my feelings, ideas, and thoughts about life. I always heard when I was coming up as a youngster that no progress could be made about human rights, race relations, economic fairness, and equal employment opportunity because the matters were too complicated, hard, and difficult and the political environment timmng was not ready or not right! So I thought then S. Be SIMPLE. Before you can really, sincerely and truly care about anything you must A. APPRECIATE it I was told that life is what you make of it in your A. ATTITUDE (=/SAA/) The first of three letters of a three part TRINITY. This the first part of me DOWN and IN ( below) as a SPIRIT SOUL SELF SUBSTANCE for life is a (Simple Appreciating Attitude) In order to complete anything you must be S. SINCERE about it. Most things outside of Math and rules of grammar for the English language that I learn in school were misrepresentations and out-right lies so I felt I must be A. ACCURATE and to make something happen you must be A. ACTIVE /SAA/. The second TRINITY of the me UP OUT ( above) as SPIRITUAL MENTAL and PHYSICAL FUNCTION in life as (Sincere Accurate and Active). THE OUT COME OF THE NAME---SAASAA is a SIMPLE APPRECIATING ATTITUDE that is SINCERE ACCURATE and ACTIVE. In Kenya lauguage SAASAA means (NOW). As for my middle name it is all about communicating and understanding (CAU) in everything you hear say see be and do. Out of this came the NAME CCADOT. C_ C A D O T CALM CLEAR AWAKEN DEVOTED OBSERVANT TEMPERED (BY TIME AND EXPERIENCE) I did not know at the time that SAASAA turns out to mean NOW in the language of Kenya which was a wonderful surprise for me to know. Knowing of this I thought It was so befitting for me as my spiritual THEME I AM NOW. This is me I felt and thought. IS ME (another acronym) requires me to INSPIRE STIMULATE MOTIVATE and ENCOURAGE CHARACTER HUMANITY and Individuality whenever and where-ever I can. SPIRIT OF NOW (SON)I consider myself a SON OF THE ANCESTOR and A SPIRITUAL PERSON. I am far more interested in spiritual matters when it comes to ideas such as COMMUNICATION UNDERSTANDING RELATIONSHIP being DECENT KIND GENTAL and a GENUINE AUTHENTIC PERSON. I have less concerns for STATUS, TITLES, and MATERIAL matters. When it come to MYTH and RELIGION I am a believer in the Belly Button Connection. I figure if you were to trace the (belly button) ambibical cord to its end and beginning there is where you will find the SOURCE OF ALL EXISTENCE. In this light you can understand SELF VALUE, ORIGINALITY, INDIVIDUALITY all saying “the ANCESTOR as the SOURCE is one” people call It GOD by many names and for different reasons. By the way it cost me only $31 (25 for filing and 6 for the application fee) to change my name and I had thought that it would be $500 or $600. What a surprise it was for me who had put this off for some 10 years because I thought it would be more than I could afford at the time.
