.."Spending time in LA was a good knock in the forehead for all of us", said Scott Starr. "We found out how our ideals were set in so many wrong places.".. ..They speak of morals, epiphanies, revelations, and physics. Three whitty college grads with their own personal views and answers to everything; besides the music business of course. A question that circles the group with unremitting arguments, outbursts, loud screaming, and the occasional slam of a door. Something they hesitate to bring up... .."We don't know what we're doing really. This should be easy. It's something we're not very good at and I don't think we want to be.", Kevin Dunphy exclaims. "I think we've learned that the business isn't for us. Some say it needs to be. I don't think so. We'll concentrate on the music and we'll have other people there to advise us on all the other paths to self destruction.".. ..The People rest their case on writing good melodies and booking national tours. They do most of the work themselves, declaring that finding honest people, with good intentions, that are willing to help the band is a complete mystery to them. They keep faith in their fans and the day by day potential of their rock n roll trio and the music they produce... ..When asked about their motives as a rock n roll band ..... .."I don't know anything about trains, or aero-flyers. I just want to be in a bus, playing guitar, and meeting our fans across the world. Right now we can't even afford to play our own songs. We're actually very simple people. We'll play for anyone at anytime. We just want to play. And write more music of course. And then we'll play you some of that. Maybe one day we'll record it. Depending on who foots the bill.", Joey Carini states... ..The People have been in and out of several recording studios over the past 2 years; working towards their debut album. It's something sacred to them and they ensure that they're in no hurry to complete the record. They'll tell you it could come out next Tuesday, depending on who the first one is to steal the tapes and upload the tracks to the internet... .."We're not about the collection of songs on a disc. We want an album that feels like a person and reads like a book. We already know what it feels like. And it's fucking great! It's something really beautiful. We just need to put it on tape so you can feel it too", Starr declares. "It's just a matter of time before you know what I'm talking about.".. ..Their confidence expires into humility, then trails off into wishing they were someone else in a distant generation. They talk a lot about Miles Davis, The British Invasion, Rhythm and Blues, melody, and the future of rock n roll in decades to come. You'll also hear a lot about vinyl records, past run-ins with scotch, and their private group therapy sessions; Yes, that is right. They're not afraid to admit their disfunctional triangle of love, hate, and ill communication... .."Our triangle is a little more like a circle that has no center. I realize that it doesn't make much sense. Most of the time, we don't either.", Dunphy says... ..Their friendship fires the music and keeps the day dreams burning. They live together, work side by side, and frequent the same block of pubs. Together, they often speak of their own personal hallucinations and daily idealisms. If they weren't called The People, they'd surely be called "The Dreamers"; refering to one of their own waltz rock melodies, "Goodevening , We're the Dreamers"... ..The People are destined to become whatever destiny has in store. The boys don't believe it's fair to estimate such things. They know who they are, they love what they do, and they mean what they say... .."LA is no cure for the working band. Touring with good music and having a constant relationship with our fans has made it easy to answer all of our questions. No place, no company, no one soul will make this band better than it already is. Time will show us all who's been missing out on what", Starr proclaims...

They speak of morals, epiphanies, revelations, and physics. Three whitty college grads with their own personal views and answers to everything; besides the music business of course. A question that circles the group with unremitting arguments, outbursts, loud screaming, and the occasional slam of a door. Something they hesitate to bring up.

"We don't know what we're doing really. This should be easy. It's something we're not very good at and I don't think we want to be.", Kevin Dunphy exclaims. "I think we've learned that the business isn't for us. Some say it needs to be. I don't think so. We'll concentrate on the music and we'll have other people there to advise us on all the other paths to self destruction."

The People rest their case on writing good melodies and booking national tours. They do most of the work themselves, declaring that finding honest people, with good intentions, that are willing to help the band is a complete mystery to them. They keep faith in their fans and the day by day potential of their rock n roll trio and the music they produce.

When asked about their motives as a rock n roll band ...

"I don't know anything about trains, or aero-flyers. Depending on who foots the bill.", Joey Carini states.

The People have been in and out of several recording studios over the past 2 years; working towards their debut album. It's something sacred to them and they ensure that they're in no hurry to complete the record. They'll tell you it could come out next Tuesday, depending on who the first one is to steal the tapes and upload the tracks to the internet.

"We're not about the collection of songs on a disc. We want an album that feels like a person and reads like a book. We already know what it feels like. And it's fucking great! It's something really beautiful. We just need to put it on tape so you can feel it too", Starr declares. "It's just a matter of time before you know what I'm talking about."

Their confidence expires into humility, then trails off into wishing they were someone else in a distant generation. They talk a lot about Miles Davis, The British Invasion, Rhythm and Blues, melody, and the future of rock n roll in decades to come. You'll also hear a lot about vinyl records, past run-ins with scotch, and their private group therapy sessions; Yes, that is right. They're not afraid to admit their disfunctional triangle of love, hate, and ill communication.

"Our triangle is a little more like a circle that has no center. I realize that it doesn't make much sense. Most of the time, we don't either.", Dunphy says.

Their friendship fires the music and keeps the day dreams burning. They live together, work side by side, and frequent the same block of pubs. Together, they often speak of their own personal hallucinations and daily idealisms. If they weren't called The People, they'd surely be called "The Dreamers"; refering to one of their own waltz rock melodies, "Goodevening , We're the Dreamers".

The People are destined to become whatever destiny has in store. The boys don't believe it's fair to estimate such things. They know who they are, they love what they do, and they mean what they say.

No place, no company, no one soul will make this band better than it already is. Time will show us all who's been missing out on what", Starr proclaims.
