........Biography...... ....The Rocket Dolls are a three-piece Alternative Rock outfit who formed in the beginning of 2008 in Brighton. All three members of The Rocket Dolls are professionally trained musicians from various top colleges across the UK. The Rocket Dolls are: Nikki Smash – Lead vocals and lead guitar, Phil Ryland - Bass & Backing Vocals, Ben Knopfler – Drums. ......Nikki, Phil and Ben took their influences from: The Exies, Dark New Day, Silverchair and many others in the Alt Rock field, and have put their own feel to create their own unique sound... ......Up to now The Rocket Dolls have achieved many things including recording and releasing their debut EP "Frame" of which was mixed and mastered by Ace (Skunk Anansie), which sold hundreds of copies and are now shooting a video for the title track of the EP "Frame"... ......The band has also played in excess of 150 shows, including headlining the Tattoo Convention, London 2009 and the charity festival "Pebbles on the Beach".
