the sharp ties hail from a corner of the Inland Empire known as La Verne...spanish for "the verne" the boys began their journey during a dark and scary time period known as the glam rock era. After a brief brush with the emerging heavy metal scene, the guys were introduced to stylings of bands like Pennywise and Bad Religion and quickly embraced the three-chord, spiked hair scene of punk rock. With instruments in full sticker mode, the boys would go on to tour the small venues of Orange County and the I.E. for several years after disbanding to conquer other undertakings such as responsibility and parenthood. Re-forming in 2009, the guys are back in the garage envoking a combination of 1960's rock and roll and straight forward punk rock...the sharp ties....
