The Silence Club

Bio:

My name is Aaron L Novak. I write, sing and record these songs under the name of, "The Silence Club." I recorded all of these songs wherever I've laid my head from Bakersfield, California to Portland, Oregon on the same ol' cobweb infested Computer tower. I met Mark Powell on a Halloween night with his bass guitar in hand. I don't read music and speak in mumbles a mile a minute when I'm trying to rehearse with a live band, mark is a professional mumble translator and plays the bass like the second half of my brain! One night after a funky jah punkys show at the silver fox bar, I got up and started playing Harry the Ghost on the guitar, at that same time I met Mary who is the best drummer I've ever seen play the drums. Sometimes the silence club can not contain the power of mary's drums and she will fly into the sky like a rocket ship and do a somer sault back on to the throne and start playing again. Then I met Steve Wilson who is fastest keyboard player and multi instrumentalist in the west and flys helicopters at night as a secret agent. Soon I met Chris Debondt who has shared many musical adventures up and down the west coast with me. I often team up with my best friend Rickey Bird of Hectic Films for filming mischief. My friends I meet and places I go along the way keeps me alive and fills life with these stories and songs. I'm trying to find a way to make a living singing these songs to people. But if I never do and I turn out to be some bum on the street that the hipsters laugh at as they walk by to the next bar, I'm fine with that. The Silence Club for life.
